Our history

The "Träbeser Bauernstube" is located not far from the summit plateau of the "Hohe Geba". She has been owned since 1989 of the Back family and is a privately run hotel. In 1995 the "Träbeser Bauernstube" was extended by 4 double rooms. In 2000, the existing terrace was covered with a winter garden and offers space for around 60 guests.
In 2020/2021 the "Träbeser Bauernstube" was completely renovated, renovated and modernized. The hotel rooms were on 9 doubles and 1 single room extended. All rooms are in a three star standard of DEHOGA Germany. The restaurant and reception area Guests have also been renovated and modernized to offer a contemporary sense of well-being.

We would like to base our culinary offer on the "Thuringian cuisine".
Beef roulades, dumplings, red cabbage, "ragout fin" or a schnitzel will always be part of our menu.
But we want to offer you more.
I learned my trade by working in the best restaurants in Germany. I would like to serve you this knowledge with small gourmet recommendations.
